Gomoa Fetteh: Chiefs Deny Publication On Reshuffling Kasoa Police

Chiefs and people of Gomoa Fetteh were in a state of quagmire upon seeing a publication on the Chronicle Newspaper’s front page indicating that Chief of Gomoa Fetteh, Nana Abor Yamoah (ii) has ordered the Inspector General Of Police James Oppong Boanu to reshuffle Police personnel’ in Kasoa over recent happening in the vicinity.

This, According to them is a false publication by the Newspaper and that no Ghanaian who has read or heard something of this sort must treat, it as such for it is a false and deliberate attempt to tarnish, create confusion between the chiefs and elders of the community and the entire police administration.

Secretary to the Gomoa Fetteh Chief Palace, Nana Duodu speaking to Bryt FM News Correspondent Eric Owusu Amponsah in a press conference said they are even surprised of hearing this for they just ended their Festival on Sunday celebrating it in a grand style, peaceful manner with police officers from Kasoa Divisional Police Command gave them a superb protection.

“It is never true. The chiefs have not sat to discuss such topic and they should know that Gomoa Fetteh does not have any land guard heard quarters,” he wailed.

Nana Duodu has then sent words of advice to the public to ignore the information as it seem as a scheme of somebody who wants to get media attention through speaking ill of Fetteh.

He assured the public and tourists of the safe nature of Gomoa Fetteh and should not hesitate to attend their interesting Akosua Lontoba festival popularly known in Akan as Atopa Festival.
