The Chief Executive Officer of Medeama Sporting Club, James Essilfie will step down in September 20, the club has confirmed.
In a statement released on the clubs official website, the construction engineer said he is leaving to handover the mantle to someone to continue.
"It has been the greatest privilege to serve Medeama for 11 years" says Essilfie.
According to him, he has worked with an amazing staff whom he believes will continue to raise the image of the club high.
"I am extremely grateful to the president, board, management, supporters for their unflinching support over the years. That has been ups and downs, but I will cherish every memory for the rest of my life" he said.
He said it is appropriate for someone to pick the baton and continue to serve the club.
Medeama Sporting Club won two FA Cup titles and played in the CAF Confederations Cup on two occasions under his tenure.
