Ghanaian Players Abroad And How They Fared In The UEFA Champions League

Ghanaian players abroad enjoyed mixed results in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday and Wednesday nights.

Joydaddymultimedia.com brings you the performance of Ghanaian players in the 2019/2020 UEFA Champions League which started last Tuesday;

There was victory for Majeed Ashimeru and his Red Bull Salzburg while Richmond Boakye Yiadom's Crvena Zvezda suffered a humiliating defeat in Germany where they played FC Bayern Munich.

Red Bull Salzburg 6-2 KRC Genk, Majeed Ashimeru and Gideon Mensah did not feature for their side despite thumping KRC Genk in the opening day fixture.

Due to injury, Joseph Paintsil was left out in KRC Genk squad that lost to Salzburg.

Inter Milan 1-1 Slavia Prague, Kwadwo Asamoah played full throttle of the game as his side drew with their opponent and subsequently received a yellow card.

Bayern Munich 3-0 Crvena Zvezda,  Richmond Boakye Yiadom came off the bench after 70 minutes to replace Milan Pavkov but could not help his side to withstand the mights of the Bavarians.

Atletico Madrid 2-2 Juventus, Thomas Partey helped Atletico Madrid to share spoils at the Wander Metropolitano with Juventus.

He was replaced in the 76th minute by Hector Herrera who levelled the pegging in the 90th minute mark for the Rojiblancos.
