29 Nurses and Midwives In Kade, Akwatia And Asamankese Receive Awards
total of 29 Nurses and midwives from West Akyem, Kwaebibirem and Saint Dominic
Hospital Zone have received awards for their dedicated service in the Ghana
The awards, included five Citations and 24 certificates and it was initiated by leadership of Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA) in three zones.
Among the award winners were midwives and Nurses who have accepted posting to remote areas and those who have saved lives with their professional practices.
Chairman of the Asamankese Zone, Mr. Charles Asante commended members in the three zones and charged them to continue making Health of patients a priority.
A retired matron and former Treasurer of the Association, Madam Agnes Atuah called on Junior Nurses and midwives to upgrade themselves to become leaders and charged them to practice with professionalism to make nursing and midwifery attractive.
She urged members of the Association to be proud and stressed on the need for all members to have one uniform and use it for occasions frequently as others are doing.
