The Burkina Faso international has debunked reports in the media that he was dropped by the head coach for their CAF Champions League second leg due to injury.
He revealed that the Norwegian gaffer failed to explain the reasons behind his snub for the second encounter against Etoile Du Sahel after cameos in their 2-0 win over the Tunisian side in the first leg tie staged in Kumasi.
Bryt Fm Power Sports understand that, Kumasi Asante Kotoko goal poacher, Songne Yacouba is fully fit but it was a tactical decision from the head Coach to drop him.
According to Songne Yacouba, he is very fit and do not know why he was dropped from the squad to Tunisia.
"The coach did not give any reason for axing me from the squad" he said.
"You cannot assess me with just 10minutes of play against Etoille Du Sahel" he added.
The warriors left Ghana around 4am today via Royal Air-Maroc. They'll make a stopover in Morocco before making their final trip to Tunisia.
The game against Etoile du sahel will be played on Sunday at 5pm Tunisian time, 4pm Ghanaian time."
