Bombshell: One Candidate To Be Disqualified From Eastern Region RFA Chairmanship Race

Information reaching indicates that one of the aspiring candidates for the Eastern Regional Football Association (RFA) Chairmanship position will be disqualified and thrown out of the race when the final list is expected to be released later today (Friday).

The results of the body conducting the integrity test on the two candidates will present their findings to the Normalization Committee led by Dr. Kofi Amoah.

It is unclear if the said candidate will be added to the qualified list following a series of petitions leveled against him.

What is certain is that surely most of the regional football association aspirants will be disqualified including one from the Eastern Region.

The vetting committee was expected to have presented its full findings on Thursday but pleaded for more time to deliver on its mandate because of the workload and desire to do a diligent job for the country.

The two aspiring candidates in the Eastern Region are Linford Asamoah Boadu and Nana Kwadwo Budu.

The NC will immediately publish the list of candidates approved to contest for the elections once they receive the report from the vetting committee.
