Vice President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Mr. Fred Pappoe has
practically begged delegates to cast their votes for him to become the next
Capo for Ghana FA.
The former GFA Vice President made this assertion during an interview with Bryt Fm sports presenter Kwaku Sarpong Sarkodie.
According to Mr. Pappoe, the consistent comparison made between him and his former boss Kwesi Nyantakyi doesn’t hold water, as he believes during his time with the federation was a success.
When asked if he can change the image of Ghana football having worked with the erstwhile Kwesi Nyantakyi administration, he said, "I did my work to the adoration of Ghanaians during my time with the FA. As vice president at the time, I did very well for Ghana football. Also, my time with the Black Stars as the management committee chairman was successful. I feel that with what I have achieved I can do well to raise our game. I wouldn't have availed myself if my time with the FA was not successful" he told Bryt FM.
The former management Committee chairman of the Black Stars affirmed that when given the chance as the next FA president he can do well with regards to the numerous successes he chopped during his time and has called on delegates to look at his achievements and vote for him
He added that despite working with Nyantakyi he is distinctively different and that, he left the stage when the applauds were high.
