Photos Suhum: MCE Blames for Poor Living Conditions of Koransang Community, Students lives in Danger

The chief of Koransang of the Suhum Municipality Baafour Agyanor I has blamed the MCE Hon. Mageret Darko for their continuous unbearable living conditions.

Residents of the farming community are characterized by a lack of potable water, healthcare, educational facilities, good roads, and toilet facilities, which are difficult to come by.

It is alleged that some teachers decline postings to teach at Koransang basic school in the Suhum municipality of the Eastern region due to the weakling nature of the school building.

This issue and many other social challenging issues are said to be affecting the residents in the area.

Besides, Baafour Agyanor I revealed that the MCE has not attempted to tackle the numerous challenges confronted them.

Bryt Fm understands that the communities intend to demonstrate against the MCE in the coming days.

Nana Baffour Agyanor wondered why in this 21st century students could be kept in poor learning conditions and expects them to pass to their examination.

Some of the teachers also complained bitterly this school was established in 1869 with a 6 unit classroom structure built from community members and has since not seen any major renovation and thus affecting teaching and learning.

The teachers said the nature of the school structure is even demoralized them to teach.

Baafour Agyanor I and the teachers, therefore, made a passionate appeal to the government and other organizations to relieve them from their continuous unbearable living conditions.
