Confirmed: Why Vim Lady Afia Pokua Joins UTV from Adom FM after 17-years

Most listen to popular journalist; Gladys Arthur a.k.a Vim Lady Afia Pokua has joined UTV, a subsidiary of the Despite Group of Companies after working with Adom FM a subsidiary of the Multimedia Group for many years.

The much experienced journalist and LLB holder who started her media career from Compuprint limited publishers of People and Places (P&P) newspaper before joining Multimedia Group Adom FM at Tema is the new host of Mmara No se S3n, a flagship legal programme of the TV station that gives legal education in Twi.

"One of my biggest blessings God has ever given me is positioning me at Multimedia Group Limited after my short stint at P&P."

"For 17 years, I have done my best, even left my father on his dying bed to read my bulletin before running to the hospital to bid him farewell."

"I have learnt from great people and taken lessons from my bad experiences. This is the best time to leave and open avenues for others to grow. I'm indebted to all those who helped me on that journey. It's been fun, tears but a great experience. I hope to learn more on my next chapter."

Her move to UTV has been met with commendation and encouragement from her many fans and well-wishers mainly on social media.
