Gor Mahia striker Francis Afriyie is convinced that his current run of form will earn him a call up to the national team.
The former Bechem United marksman is having a fantastic season in the Kenyan Premier League with Gor Mahia where he has scored three goals in three appearances in the league.
"It is the dream of every player to play for his national team. I know I will definitely get the nod before the year comes to an end" he told Spanky of Bryt FM.
According to him, he is pretty sure of earning a call up to the Black Stars and has promised to make great impact when given the opportunity.
The Black Stars of Ghana will commence their 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on November 14 as they take on South Africa.
However, Afriyie has affirmed that he is very optimistic of playing for the national team before 2019 ends and is hopeful of getting a call up in the upcoming games for the Black Stars.
Francis Afriyie helped Gor Mahia to win Kenyan Super Cup on his competitive debut.
He then promised to bag in the goals for his side as they take on Motema Pembe in the CAF Confederations cup qualifier at their own backyard.
