AFCON 2021 Qualifiers: Kwesi Appiah Names Squad Against South Africa And Sao Tome

Black Stars head coach James Kwesi Appiah has named a 23-man squad for two 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches to be played in November.

Ghana will host South Africa at one on November 14 at the Cape Coast Stadium, before travelling to Sao Tome and Principe to face them on November 18.

Kwesi Appiah has handed call ups to a number of players including former Hearts of Oak forward Torric Jibril, Spain based Iddrisu Baba and Mohammed Salisu, as well as German-based Christopher Antwi Adjei.

Harrison Afful makes a return to the team after missing this years' AFCON in Egypt.

The team is expected to start training in Cape Coast from November 11.
