Chief of Asamankese in the Eastern Region, Osabarima Adu Darko III, has said
the traditional council is ready to release Large Land for Investors who want
to establish factories and go into Large Scale farming.
He revealed that the Land will be release for government or private investors who want to establish factories to create jobs for the Youth in his traditional council as well as groups who want to use the land for farming.
Addressing a ground durbar of the Second edition of the obourdwan festival in Asamankese, Osabarima Adu Darko III said lobbying for investors to establish factories in his area to address unemployment among the youth in his area remains his top priority.
The chief, however, charges the Youth in the area to accept Entrepreneurship training to create a job for themselves and urged those in School to study hard to reach a higher level and get a job.
Osabarima Adu Darko III lauded President Akufo-Addo for introducing the free Senior High School policy and called on beneficiaries to take advantage of the policy and study hard.
Moreover, the chief called on all ethnic groups in the area to come together and develop Asamankese to become one of the Tourist sites and Investment hubs in Ghana.
