Deputy General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Lawyer Obiri Boahen says he is not keen about Kwesi Appiah's sacking as he believes that is not the solution to our problems.
In an interview with Kwaku Sarpong Sarkodie of Bryt FM, he said, "I am not so keen about Kwesi Appiah's sacking. My interest is on how our football will be mobilized. We must get the fundamentals right to benefit our game".
"So whether Kwesi Appiah will go or not, I'm not interested but rather I am keen about football organization in the country
According to him, he is much concern about how football will be organized under the new Ghana Football Association (GFA) as he believes proper league structure will interest Ghanaians than thinking about the national teams only.
"If the national team do not perform well in about two years and we have a proper football organization, so be it. I think that will excite the football fraternity" he added.
