2019 Reggae/Dancehall Disc Jockey winner, Nana Ntow, well known as the Reggae Bombardier at the just ended Ghana DJ’s awards has described his listeners and fans who guaranteed his victory during the award completion as a family and not just mere listeners as being heard everywhere.
The first time award winner born Michael Akoto Ntow arguably is the first Ghanaian to host a reggae show in the Akan language (TWI) on Dadi 101.1FM, a subsidiary of Joy Daddy Multimedia dubbed ‘Reggae Paradise’ on Saturdays and Sundays.
“I don’t call them listeners. I call them family. I love, respect and appreciate them. Their effort through vote fetched me the votes leading to my victory”, Nana Ntow joyfully added.
Nana Ntow (the Gambian Bulongu) in an interview on his feelings about being nominated for the first time and winning it simply said, “The feel was good but humble”.
“I’m the 1st Reggae presenter to do Reggae in Twi (Akan language). We have brought the Patois language into our own language making and nothing is stopping us from soaring higher,” says Reggae Bombardier.
The Reggae/Dancehall DJ of The Year (2019) has promised his families to bring on board more inspiring programs to spiced up their lives and urged them to keep on listing to Dadi FM Reggae Paradise.
The ex-Radio XYZ presenter expressed his appreciation and the award to the Chief Executive Officer of Joy Daddy Multimedia and Joy Industries Limited, Dr Manfred Takyi and his brothers for identifying the potentials in him.
Not forgetting the Managements of Joy Daddy Multimedia, Owuahene Achampon (Programs head), Efo Sagaribiwe (manager), Nana Kweku Boateng (Jah Gold), the African Guugle. Osagyefo GH (The simple Entertainer), Lumumba Mawuko Awudi (JamRock), Reggae Paradise Ambassadors and all who voted.
