Experienced Ghanaian defender Daniel Darkwah has revealed
that his team target is to reach the final of the CAF Confederations cup this
The former Asante Kotoko defender enjoyed a good day at the office on Sunday afternoon as he found the back of the net to inspire Eyimba FC to victory over TS Galaxy in the CAF Confederations cup prelims.
His 77th-minute goal was the start of good things as they ended up progressing to the money zone of the confederations cup with a 4-1 aggregated score.
The Aba based club was a semifinalist in last year's competition and is hoping to build upon to reach the final this time around.
However, Dankwah in an interview with Sylvester Ntim (Koke) of Bryt FM said, he is keen on helping his outfit reach the final of the Confederations cup.
"My target is to help the team to the final because in my absence they reached the semifinals. We the players are committed to the course and will do our possible best to reach that peak" he told Bryt FM.
