The ruling New Patriotic party (NPP) UK Communications Director, Nana Ansah Obofour has rendered an apology to EIB GHone television journalist, Nana Aba Anamoah, NPP executives and the larger NPP fraternity for the insults he rained on her for airing her views about the Akufo-Addo government and politics in general.
In a statement sighted by Joydaddymultimedia.com on his Facebook page today Saturday, November 9, 2019. The NPP diaspora Executive said upon sober reflection, he has come to the conclusion the remarks he made about Nana Aba were “disparaging” and “unfortunate”.
‘In the middle of the political discourse during the week, I made certain disparaging comments on the person of Nana Aba Anamoah, a journalist with GhOne TV, upon a sober reflection, I apologise unreservedly to her for the comments I made.’ He wrote.
“I will also like to state that those unfortunate comments were my personal views and not that of the party I serve. Therefore I apologise to the party and its leadership for any harm my actions may have caused them. I will be guided by the lessons I have learnt from this incident going forward” he added.
