E/R: Public Calls For Facelift Of Koforidua Culture Centre

The Koforidua Centre for National Culture edifice is nothing to write home about as the pavilion and entrance is in a poor state.

The building, which is yet to see the completion of the first floor has the entrance not painted with only designer blocks giving a white coat painting.

As a host to lots of social and religious activities, it seems authorities are yet to invest in the completion and the renovation of some parts of the building, even though patronising the facility comes with a fee.

Some residents who spoke to the reporter at the scene, quizzed what monies accrued from the facility is being used for as the facility has not received the needed attention and facelift it deserves for a long time.

“You see, our leaders in Eastern region are joking, they are not doing anything good for we the people in the region and it is very bad. My brother, Koforidua does not befit a Regional capital at all because nothing is working out right here” cross-section of the public told Bryt FM news.

They are, therefore, calling on the appropriate authorities to wake up and ensure the facility among many others see the light of the day in completion to benefit the people within the region.
