She emphasized that the sky is the limit for the team as they aspire to be the best in future.
Ideal Ladies FC was founded on November 18, 2004 and affiliated to the Ghana Football Association and the Greater Accra Regional Football Association on June 20, 2005.
The club participates in the Greater Accra Women’s Football League and the FA (Knock Out) Cup to date.
They have currently registered 30 players plus five others who are not yet registered and eight officials.
Ideal Ladies has contributed to the national female football teams with skillful and talented players like Vinoria Kuzagbe, Isha Simpson, Ruth Amoah, Bless Matilda Fodu and new sensation Abena Bawa.
The club has adopted the Bishop School Park at Bubuashie, near Kaneshie as their training grounds and home base.
Naa Dromo Adzekwei, the founder/CEO is supported by a management team comprising Dan Ashley- Team Manager, Larry Abbey – IT Manager, Henry Mettle – Head Coach, Henry Mawuko – Assistant Coach, William Decker – Masuer, Nii Ayi Quarcoo – Goal keepers Trainer and Godfred Kwame Manu – Assistant Operations Manager.
To mark their 15 years of hard work and devotion, the club orgnised a clean up exercise and attended church service at St. Monica Anglican Church before engaging Blessed Ladies FC on Sunday in the anniversary match which they won by two goals to nil.
They displayed their trophy cabinet at the match which was graced by presence of Madam Anita Baidoo, a community development activist, Betty Yawson of Starr FM and Samuel Tetteh, chairman of the Ideal Ladies Supporters Group.
Ideal Ladies which is one of the best organized female football clubs paraded players like Rose Nyatko, Vera Afful, Ruth Amoah, Esther Karikari, Greda Bennet, Gifty Ampofo, Abena Bawa, Matilda Bless Fodu, Jennifer Dawa, Harriet Addo and Pearl Forsom
